This is the AI visibility tracker methodology behind every ranking on bestaivisibilitytracker.com. It explains which criteria we use, how much each one counts, and where the numbers come from. Price per prompt carries the most weight, because it is what you pay for each question your brand is checked against. What criteria decide the ranking?

GrandRanker tracks how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews mention your brand, then writes and publishes the content that gets you cited.

Five criteria decide the order. Each one is checked against the vendor's own pricing page or product docs. The weights are our editorial policy for this site. They are not the result of a lab test, and they are the same for every tool we rank.

How do we calculate price per prompt?

Price per prompt is the plan price divided by the number of prompts that plan includes. A lower number means you pay less for each question your brand is checked against. We use the lowest plan that lists a prompt count. When a vendor shows only an annual rate, we use that rate and say so.

Three tools are left out of that table on purpose. Scrunch AI splits prompts into custom and industry pools, so its price per prompt depends on which pool you count. The Scrunch AI pricing page explains the split. AthenaHQ Starter has unlimited prompts, so a per-prompt price does not apply. Ahrefs Brand Radar sells prompts per day, not per month.

Two more tools have no usable number. Profound lists no self-serve price on its pricing page. SE Visible lists euro prices only, and we do not convert currencies.

How do we update the rankings?

We check each pricing page listed in our sources and update the figures when a vendor changes a plan, price or prompt count. Every page shows its check date. A ranking changes only when the facts change.

What do we not know yet?

Some numbers conflict. Third-party sites quote different entry prices for Goodie AI and Writesonic than the vendors show on their own pages. We use the vendor page in every case and leave out any figure we cannot confirm there.

Where a vendor lists no price, we leave the tool out of the per-prompt table instead of guessing. Each update is tied to a source link, so you can check the same page we did. For scope and who runs the site, read the about page.
